WHY WE STARTED ROUGHRIDGE

Back in the spring of 2022, we finally hit a breaking point. Every backcountry hunt turned into “frankensteining” a cook system together, mixing pieces from different brands just to get something that barely worked.

All of our options were either too heavy, too bulky, or just weren’t built to handle the conditions we faced on backcountry hunts.

There was no all-in-one cook system solution or even a brand that represented who we are and how we hunt.

So we decided to build our own from the ground up.

Roughridge was born out of necessity for DIY hunters who push harder, go farther, and know success isn’t given, it’s earned.
