In the spring of 2022, we got fed up with “frankensteining” our cook systems to fit what we needed for backcountry hunts. Everything was either too heavy, too bulky, or just didn't work as a complete backcountry cook system.
So we decided to build our own from the ground up.

That idea became the Roughridge Highcountry Cook System, an ultralight, all-in-one setup designed for backcountry hunters.
It includes a fuel-regulated stove, a modular titanium pot with a removable windguard, and a folding spork. Every component nests inside our unique octagon-shaped titanium pot, giving you unmatched packability. Everything you need, nothing you do not.
STOVE THAT NEVER DIES
Our stove is built to perform in the backcountry without weighing you down. At just 2.8 ounces, it is ultralight, and the built-in ignitor is protected from the elements so you can rely on it no matter the weather.
The fuel regulator ensures optimal performance at high altitudes and freezing temperatures. The windproof burner head protects the flame, giving you consistent boils no matter the conditions. It is compact, fuel-efficient, and quick to boil water, yet also has simmer control when you need it.
The pot supports fold up and down in single motion and have specific cutout design that locks into our pot for added stability and efficiency
POT THAT CAN DO IT ALL
The pot is the key to the system. Made from durable titanium, it’s lightweight yet strong, 5.5 ounces without the windguard, 6.3 ounces with it. The removable windguard maximizes fuel efficiency, allowing you to boil water in any hunting condition. Its octagonal shape optimizes storage space, nesting the entire cook system seamlessly inside the pot for the best packability.
Burn-free handles and a silicone-lined lid that opens easily and stays shut make this setup unmatched for packability and backcountry performance.
SPORK YOU'LL NEVER LOSE
We even thought about the little things, like your spork. Ultralight at just 0.96 ounces, it’s made from durable titanium and folds down to fit inside the pot so you’ll never lose it again.
At 8.3 inches long, it offers extended reach for eating straight from freeze-dried bags, keeping things clean and easy. It locks securely open for use and stays shut when packed. The comfort grip makes it easy to hold and stir your food.
FOUR-SEASON FUEL
The fuel canister is lightweight and reliable, designed for backcountry hunting. Inside is a 4-season blend of isobutane and propane, so your stove performs consistently, even in cold conditions. Each canister is 3.9oz and provides 110 grams of fuel, enough for multiple backcountry meals without having to carry more than one.
