How to do it

  1. Next time you stop to make coffee or a freeze dried meal, get the system going and pull out your phone. Vertical is best.
  2. Shoot 20 to 60 seconds and tell us what you think of it. Wind and dirty hands are fine.
  3. Hit the button and upload it. Put the name and email from your order in the file name or a note.

Not sure what to say?

Say whatever's true. If it helps to have a starting point, here are a few things hunters ask us about:

  • What it replaced and why you switched
  • How easy it is to set up and use
  • Boil time. How fast it gets your water going
  • Wind. Does it stay lit when it's blowing
  • Ignitor. Does it fire when it's cold
  • How everything packs together. Stove, fuel, lid, all in the pot
  • Weight on your back over a long haul
  • Durability. How it's holding up after a season of getting thrown in a pack

How you get paid

The first 60 clips that qualify each get a $50 digital gift card, Visa or Amazon, your pick. We send it to the email on your Roughridge order within 48 hours of your clip clearing review. One per customer. Once we hit 60, the upload link closes.

To qualify: you own a HighCountry Cook System, the clip is 20 to 60 seconds, filmed where you hunt with the system on camera and in use, and you're talking about it so we can hear you. One gift card per customer. Gift cards go to the first 60 qualifying clips. We review every clip and send the card within 48 hours of it clearing review. Clips that don't meet these don't qualify. Uploads close November 20, 2026, or when we reach 60 qualifying clips, whichever comes first.
